Travel Training

Learn the basics about how travel training programs work with Golden Gate Regional and the Department of Rehabilitation with Marie Marchese from R&D Transportation Services and Valarie Campos from Vista Center for the Blind.  

Conservatorship

Learn the basics about the various types of conservatorships and how they can apply to conserving a family member with a disability in this workshop by Alexis Lynch who is a San Mateo Lawyer specialising in the challenges and concerns facing a family of a child with special needs.

Continuum of Transition - Resource Panel

A resource panel with a first year college student with Canada college's Disability Resource Center, as well as a 2018 summer experience on the California Youth Leadership Forum, and a graduate of Hillsdale High will speak with the District Administrator of the Department of Rehabilitation, and a parent of an adult with an intellectual disability.   

Sexability

Ligia Andrade Zuniga, M.A., is dedicated to educating and empowering individuals living with disabilities on various aspects of independent living, particularly in the area of sexuality. She is a Director and Sexuality and Disability Educator for Sexability, an organization providing sexuality education to individuals with disabilities.
